You need to take a trip to Red River, New Mexico, because your best friend deserves a vacation too!

Red River is a mountain resort town located in northern New Mexico. It is in the southern Rocky Mountains and completely surrounded by the Carson National Forest.

Dogs love Red River! And, why wouldn't they?

There is endless room to roam, lots to see, and a bunch of scents to smell. Luie Boone would be stopping to smell all of the plants and flowers. He loves plants and flowers.

You should plan on taking a walk with your pal on the pet-friendliest Main Street in New Mexico. Maybe they'll be some fun stores for you and your best buddy to check out. Don't let your pup steal your wallet for treats or you'll be in debt.

With cool mountain waters to paddle in and scenic nature trails to explore, Red River, New Mexico, is a dog owner's dream vacation!

Check out the rest of this post and plan on making a Red River vacation a dream come true for you and your pooch!

What does Luie Boone think of this rental? He woofed:

When we go on vacation here, I know I am going to love it! The house is river-front, which means I can help my family feed the ducks and catch some fish. I'll have to bring Quackers—my duck toy—with to show him how the real ducks live. I am probably going to snooze at night downstairs in the living room, snuggled up by the windows looking out at the river. The sound of the water flowing down the river will lull me right to sleep (and make me have to pee!) At least I'll be right by the screen door, so I can easily be let outside when I need to go to the bathroom. When I am resting, I will lay down in the kitchen on the tile floor to stay nice and cool! I really cannot wait to have fires in the evening, so I can lie on the grass next to the river and beg for some tasty marshmallows. The river’s waiting and so are the stories we’re about to make.

Luie Boone's Pet Peeve about

Red River, New Mexico

There's just so much to love about this vacation destination, but there's one thing that's got Luie Boone's leash in a twist. He woofed:

Red River is called the snowiest town in New Mexico. This is because every year the town gets about 40 inches of snowfall! Although I do love to play in the snow, I'd prefer not to go on vacation when there's 40 inches of snow. What if the Abominable Snowman comes for me!?
